The Unseen Bond
The Unseen Bond explores the sacred relationship between man and woman through the symbolic figures of Adam and Eve.
Adam is portrayed seated upon an elevated throne, representing strength, responsibility, and leadership—not as symbols of dominance or superiority, but of the role he is called to fulfill. Opposite him stands Eve, holding the flame of life, a symbol of creation and the gift without which human life itself could not exist.
Adam is not above Eve, nor is Eve beneath Adam. They are two complementary halves of the same whole. There is no Eve without Adam, and no Adam without Eve.
Together they form a complete circle—a symbol of life itself. Within this circle exist love, spirit, struggle, growth, difference, and unity. When that circle is broken, the harmony of life is disturbed.
This painting reflects my belief that the relationship between man and woman is sacred. It flourishes through mutual respect, understanding, and the willingness of each person to embrace their responsibilities. Only then can the circle remain whole
